The 4th Nike Team Nationals will be held at Portland Meadows race track, Portland OR, on December 1, 2007 with 44 high school club teams from around the country (22 boys and 22 girls). Most of these teams will be selected based on finishing first or second at regional championships in November.

California is a one-state region with no time for a regional championship since the state meet is the weekend before NTN finals. California gets two slots (both boys and girls) selected by committee in the 4th national championship race at Portland Meadows race track, Portland OR, on December 1.

California teams were picked off the California State Meet - November 24th in Fresno

Open Race Fields

39 teams including the Kenyans will run in the Open Race before the
NTN championship races. Last year, the Kenyans were popular
winners and some US teams made a case for being picked for
the championship races.
